Job summary

Marks & Spencer is seeking a Deputy Store Manager in Food to lead the Foodhall teams, driving exceptional service, availability and quality, and delivering strong commercial performance in a fast-paced retail environment. You will support the Store Manager, step up to run the store when needed, coach colleagues, and use data to identify opportunities and optimise performance across food categories.

• Passion for food, service and customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operation across the Foodhall, delivering service, availability, quality and standards.
• Support the Store Manager to deliver the retail plan and drive performance.
• Step up to run the full store when required, with energy and focus.
• Coach and develop Team Managers and colleagues to inspire customers and service.
• Use data and insight to identify opportunities and optimise performance.
• Champion digital adoption and omnichannel retailing for connected experiences.
• Maintain high standards in service, food safety, presentation and operations.
