Job summary

Beech Hall School invites applications for a creative and dedicated Food Technology Teacher. You will deliver practical lessons from Year 3 to Year 11 and lead the development of an engaging Food Technology curriculum, inspiring confidence and practical skills.

The successful candidate will have QTS and a relevant degree, experience across ages, and a passion for nutrition and healthy living. You will support diverse learners, manage classes effectively, and contribute to enrichment activities

Qualifications

QTS and a relevant degree are required.
Experience teaching Food Technology across a range of ages and abilities.
A passion for food education, nutrition, and developing lifelong practical skills.
The ability to motivate and engage students through creative, hands‑on teaching.
Strong classroom management and relationship‑building skills.
Experience supporting students with additional needs, including autism and dyslexia.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons to students from Year 3 to Year 11.
Lead the development of an ambitious and engaging Food Technology curriculum.
Support students with a range of learning needs to achieve their full potential.
Track progress, provide meaningful feedback, and celebrate achievement.
Contribute to enrichment activities and wider school life.
