The Role:
You’ll be teaching Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4 – helping students master everything from chopping onions to creating three- course meals. You’ll also support them in understanding nutrition, food safety, and how to cook on a budget – proper life skills that go well beyond the classroom.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Delivering hands- on, engaging lessons in Food Tech.
Keeping your classroom ( and kitchen) safe, tidy, and ready for action.
Planning tasty lessons that cover everything from healthy eating to sustainability.
Supporting students through coursework and assessments – especially for GCSE Food Prep & Nutrition.
Bringing energy, humour, and the odd Yorkshire pud recipe into your teaching!
What We’re Looking For:
A qualified teacher ( QTS or equivalent) with experience teaching Food Technology.
Someone who’s passionate about food, teaching, and giving students the skills they’ll use for life.
Strong classroom management and a calm, can- do attitude.
Up- to- date knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergy awareness.
A proper team player – we’re big on mucking in together round here.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
