One of my long-standing client schools in Bolton is looking for a Food Technology teacher to cover a long-term supply position. The role begins in April 2025 and lasts for the full academic year. Immediate availability is preferred, with the possibility to start as soon as Monday. The position is suitable for both ECTs and experienced teachers.
This is a five-day-a-week role, including pastoral duties and form group responsibilities.
The Design and Technology faculty is well-resourced. I have worked with this school since 2008. Long-term staff are paid to scale from day one and receive strong support.
The role involves teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4, as well as some lower school textiles. The school has a strong Behaviour Team and values consistency in student management.
The school is accessible via the M61, A666, and local bus and train routes, making it suitable for candidates from Greater Manchester and Lancashire.
