Step Teachers Ltd is recruiting for a Food Technology Teacher in Oxfordshire for a full-time temporary-to-perm role, with an immediate start. You will teach students aged 10–18 with ASC and SEMH, delivering practical cooking and nutrition lessons in a supportive school setting.

QTS is not essential, but experience with SEND and robust classroom management are highly valued. The role involves adapting lessons to diverse needs, promoting independence, and ensuring safe working practices.

Food Technology Teacher

Full-Time Temp-to-Perm Opportunity Immediate Start Available

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist educational setting in Oxfordshire for a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher.

This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for somebody with Food Technology teaching experience who is passionate about developing practical life skills and engaging students through hands‑on learning. An immediate start is available for the successful candidate.

Here is a specialist school catering for students aged 10–18 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school is part of The Gallery Trust and provides highly personalised educational programmes to help students achieve positive academic, social, and emotional outcomes.

The school offers a nurturing and supportive environment where staff work collaboratively to remove barriers to learning and promote independence, confidence, and life skills.

Duties as a Food Technology Teacher:

• Deliver engaging Food Technology lessons to students with ASC and SEMH needs

Ideal Food Technology Teacher:

• Previous Food Technology teaching experience is highly desirable
