Job summary

Aspire People are seeking a passionate Food Technology Teacher to work in secondary schools across Birmingham and surrounding areas on a long-term basis. You will plan and deliver engaging, practical lessons, covering KS3 and KS4, while maintaining a safe food technology classroom and kitchen environment.

The successful candidate will hold QTS, have experience teaching Food Technology in a secondary setting, and demonstrate strong classroom management and communication.

Qualifications

• QTS and experience teaching Food Technology in a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for practical learning and engaging students.
• Ability to plan and deliver creative, high-quality lessons.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Teaching Food Technology to secondary school pupils.
• Planning and delivering engaging, creative and practical lessons.
