Prospero Teaching is looking for a resilient and experienced FoodTech HLTA proficient in Key Stage 3-4 support. The learning provision is based in Blackburn.

The school caters to students in Key Stages 3-4 with SEMH Needs and offers places for children with an Educational Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The Food Technology teacher role in Blackburn will start immediately and is ongoing with no set end date. The ideal candidate will work with pupils of varying ability levels. This role is suitable for those holding a QTS as well as HLTA qualifications.

Depending on performance, the school may consider offering a permanent position.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Team Teach Trained (preferable)

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years
