Join Our Technical Team

We are seeking a confident Technologist with a Food Science or related qualification and experience in the food industry to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring product safety, legality, and compliance, as well as supporting product launches.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the supply base, customer approvals, and conduct audits.
2. Support NPD projects from a technical perspective, including product sampling, benchmarking, packaging development, specification and artwork, supplier management, and factory visits.
3. Understand and support the key stages of the NPD process, ensuring quality and technical requirements are met for smooth product launches.

Requirements:

• Experience within food manufacturing, retail, or food service.
• Strong knowledge of BRC, HACCP, retailer codes of practice, and legislation changes.
• Good understanding of retailer requirements; knowledge of retailer systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
• Attention to detail, organizational, and prioritization skills.
