Prospero Teaching is seeking a reliable Food Technology Technician to join a supportive North London secondary school from January 2027, with an earlier start available. You will support the Food Technology department with lesson preparation, equipment management, stock control and maintaining a safe learning environment.

Working hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. Previous school-based technician experience is beneficial but not essential; an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or

• Prepare materials, ingredients and equipment for practical lessons
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation and safety within the Food Technology area
• Assist teaching staff with lesson setup and clear down
• Monitor and manage stock levels and place orders when required
• Ensure equipment is maintained and stored correctly
• Follow food hygiene and health and safety procedures at all times

Food Technology Technician

Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term

Salary: £100 - £130 per day, depending on experience

Working hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
