Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a reliable Food Technology Technician for a North London secondary school starting January 2027. The role is full-time and long-term, with a daily rate and health and safety focus.

You will support the Food Technology department with lesson preparation, equipment management, stock control and maintaining a safe learning environment. DBS check required or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials, ingredients and equipment for practical lessons.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation and safety within the Food Technology area.
• Assist teaching staff with lesson setup and clear down.
• Monitor and manage stock levels and place orders when required.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and stored correctly.
