Prepare ingredients and equipment for lessons in advance
Maintain cleanliness and safety within the food technology rooms
Ensure the pantry and store cupboards are well-stocked and organised
Carry out weekly shopping for fresh ingredients
Assist students with food preparation and hygiene routines as needed
Have a keen interest in food preparation and organisation
Be reliable, well-organised, and able to manage their time effectively
Work well as part of a team and show initiative
Have experience in a school, catering, or kitchen environment (desirable but not essential)
Hold or be willing to obtain a Food Hygiene certificate
A supportive and friendly working environment
