A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Hampshire is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Food Technician to support their Food & Nutrition department from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of a thriving department that plays a key role in the school’s curriculum.

Role Responsibilities:

Prepare ingredients and equipment for lessons in advance

Maintain cleanliness and safety within the food technology rooms

Ensure the pantry and store cupboards are well-stocked and organised

Carry out weekly shopping for fresh ingredients

Assist students with food preparation and hygiene routines as needed

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have a keen interest in food preparation and organisation

Be reliable, well-organised, and able to manage their time effectively

Work well as part of a team and show initiative

Have experience in a school, catering, or kitchen environment (desirable but not essential)

Hold or be willing to obtain a Food Hygiene certificate
