Job summary

Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd seeks a Food Store Manager for our Larkfield (Aylesford) store. You’ll lead daily operations, coach managers and colleagues, and ensure top‑quality service to customers across all food hall areas.

You will drive KPI performance, manage people, schedules and payroll, and take responsibility for running the store when required to deliver exceptional experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous line management responsibilities in a fast-paced, operational environment.
• Delivers KPI’s or other performance indicators.
• Experience leading teams to deliver customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Role modelling and coaching for high standards and efficiency across the whole food hall.
• Managing compliance to processes whilst bringing the passion and flare for great shop keeping and customer service.
• Ensure every customer gets the food they want when they shop with us to help ensure we are the first choice for food.
• People management including performance, discipline, scheduling and pay.
