Job summary

Compass Group UK&I, ESS, Defence, Government and Energy services, is recruiting a Customer Services Assistant to join a fast-paced, client-facing team delivering meals and ensuring excellent service for Defence clients.

The role is full-time at 37.5 hours per week, contracted to 50.2 weeks per year, with opportunities for progression within a company that values its people and recognises top performers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a catering-related role, though not essential.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work under pressure.
• Team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
• Creating attractive food and counter displays.
• Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Handling cash and operating the cash register.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
