Job summary

Compass Group UK&I’s ESS division Defence, Energy and Government Services is seeking a Customer Services Assistant to join a busy, food-focused team. The role is contracted to 35 hours per week and involves front-line customer care within a Defence environment, including cash handling and food safety duties.

You will need an enthusiastic can-do attitude, a love of delivering great service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team, with progression opportunities in a supportive employer.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic can-do attitude.

• Experience in a catering-related role is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights clients and customers.
• Creating attractive food and counter displays.
• Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Handling cash and operating the cash register.
