Job summary

Stowupland High School in Stowupland, Stowmarket, Suffolk invites applications for a Food Service Assistant to join our school-based catering teams. You will support preparation, cooking and serving of meals under the Head of Kitchen, with part-time hours (15 per week across 38 weeks) Monday to Friday 10:30 am–1:30 pm.

The role offers training, PPE, pension eligibility and a friendly team; travel to trust sites may be required.

Qualifications

Stowupland High School are seeking a professional and friendly Food Service Assistant to join our school-based catering teams across our Mid Suffolk schools.Under the guidance of the Head of Kitchen, you will assist with the preparation, cooking and serving of meals.

You will have:

• an ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
• an ability to prioritise work, and flexibility to deal with unexpected and varied requests.
