Job summary

Oxlip Learning Partnership in Suffolk is seeking a friendly Food Service Assistant to join our school-based catering teams. Under the Head of Kitchen you will help with preparation, cooking and serving meals across Mid Suffolk schools.

The role suits someone with food prep experience, a customer-focused approach and the ability to work both as part of a team and on your own initiative. Travel to Trust sites in the Stowmarket area is required; some days may be 3 hours.

Qualifications

• Experience of food preparation and/or kitchen support role.
• A customer-focused approach.
• An ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
• An ability to prioritise work, and flexibility to deal with unexpected and varied requests.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation, cooking and serving of meals under the guidance of the Head of Kitchen.
• Support across school-based catering teams in Mid/Suffolk.
• Travel to Trust sites in the Stowmarket area as required.
