Job summary

Sodexo is recruiting a Food Service Assistant to support operations at St John's Catholic Primary School in Gravesend. The role focuses on preparing and serving food, maintaining hygiene, and delivering friendly customer service in a busy school dining environment.

Pay is £12.71 per hour, with 32.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday. The contract is term-time only (38 weeks), permanent and part-time, offering training and benefits with full guidance provided.

About the Role

As a Food Service Assistant you'll support the day-to-day running of a busy food service operation. From preparing and serving food to keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and organised, you'll help ensure everything runs smoothly.

You'll work as part of a supportive team delivering great service while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

What You'll Do

• Assist with the preparation and serving of food and beverages

Additional Information

Term Time Only - Equated Pay

This role works 38 weeks per year. Your salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments across 12 months, meaning you receive consistent pay throughout the year, including during school closure periods.
