Sodexo is hiring a Food Service Assistant at St John's Catholic Primary School in Gravesend. The role involves supporting day-to-day operations of a busy school catering service, including food preparation, serving, and maintaining hygienic dining areas.

You will work Monday–Friday during term time (38 weeks) with a permanent, part-time arrangement and a salary of £12.71 per hour. Full training is provided, and the team focuses on high standards and friendly customer service.

About the Role

As a Food Service Assistant you’ll support the day-to-day running of a busy food service operation. From preparing and serving food to keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and organised, you’ll help ensure everything runs smoothly.

Additional Information

Term Time Only – Equated Pay
This role works 38 weeks per year. Your salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments across 12 months, meaning you receive consistent pay throughout the year, including during school closure periods.
