Sodexo is hiring a Food Service Assistant at Hillmorton Primary School in Rugby. The role supports a busy food service operation, from food prep to serving and maintaining hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas.

You’ll join a collaborative team with a focus on high-quality service, working term-time only across 39 weeks, with permanent, part-time hours and a pay rate of £12.71 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous catering or food service experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday, 10.30am-13.45pm during term-time.

About the Role

As a Food Service Assistant, you’ll support the day-to-day running of a busy food service operation. From preparing and serving food to keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and organised, you’ll help ensure everything runs smoothly.

You’ll work as part of a supportive team delivering great service while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Additional Information

Term Time Only – Equated Pay

This role works 38 weeks per year. Your salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments across 12 months, meaning you receive consistent pay throughout the year, including during school closure periods.
