Sodexo is seeking a Food Service Assistant to join our kitchen and front-of-house teams. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient service environment, collaborating with chefs and staff to deliver quality meals and superior service.

You will support front-facing service or dishwashing during lunch, ensuring uniform standards and a positive guest experience. Training is provided, with opportunities for development within a dynamic catering environment.

Responsabilités

• Maintain quality service according to set work schedules and procedures.
• Monitor quality control systems (job sign-off sheets and schedules).
• Prepare food service areas and presentation to the notified standard.
• Assist front-facing serving or dishwashing during lunch service.
• Attend daily service briefing when serving on the counter.
• Implement cleaning schedules to agreed standards.
• Wear correct uniform and promote a positive company image.
• Ensure storage and equipment are clean, hygienic and maintained.
• Follow safety procedures and complete Near Miss reports; work ethic and teamwork.

Food Service Assistant, you'll play a vital role behind the scenes, helping to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. You'll be working closely with our chefs and front-of-house team to ensure everything runs smoothly. What You'll Do:

• To ensure you are working to maintain and deliver a quality service according to set work schedules and procedures
• To undertake the monitoring of quality control systems e.g. job sign off sheets and schedules
• To ensure all aspects of the preparation of food service areas and presentation of food is to the notified standard.
• To work either front facing serving pupils and staff or in the dish wash room throughout lunch service.
• To ensure you attend the daily service briefing if serving on the counter
• To implement cleaning schedules to agreed standards
• To ensure you are in the correct uniform and promote a good company image
• To ensure the promotion of a good company image to customers and guests by using positive service practices
• To ensure all front and back of house food storage and equipment are kept clean, hygienic and maintained.
• To ensure you are working in a safe way and follow the 3 checks for safety and are completing Near Miss cards
