Job Title: Food Service Assistant

Join Sodexo as a Food Service Assistant at LVS Ascot, SL5 8DR and play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals in a prestigious environment. This rewarding role offers fantastic benefits and opportunities for growth.

Details:

• Pay: £X per hour before 5pm and £Y per hour after 5pm
• Hours: 8 hours per week
• Working Pattern: Sundays, with additional hours for school events, evenings, and weekends as required

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present food according to standards, following the ethos of 'Fresh Food from Scratch'
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and surfaces
• Serve customers politely and efficiently
• Replenish food and equipment to ensure smooth service
• Complete administrative tasks such as recording food temperatures, cleaning schedules, and stock takes
• Ensure food safety and health & safety policies are followed
• Promote a friendly team environment
• Report issues to the Head Chef or Catering Manager promptly
• Assist with setup, service, and cleanup at events and functions
• Support other units in emergencies

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in catering or hospitality, preferably in a school or large-scale environment
• Passion for food service and customer satisfaction
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends
