Kinisla is seeking a Technical Manager to lead the site Food Safety, Quality, Technical, Regulatory and Compliance agenda, ensuring products meet standards and retailer expectations. You will provide strategic technical leadership to drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

You will build and maintain the Quality Management System, lead audits, manage investigations into incidents and drive corrective actions, while partnering with customers, suppliers and regulators to uphold

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent industry experience.
• HACCP Level 4 and Level 4 Food Safety Management qualifications.
• Proven experience implementing HACCP, TACCP, VACCP, GMP and allergen management.
• Minimum 5 years in a Technical or Quality Management role within a food manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading retailer, customer, BRCGS, third-party, and certification audits.
• Strong understanding of major UK retailer technical standards, codes of practice, and auditing requirements.
• Experience managing supplier approvals and 3PLs.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management with senior-level influence.

• Develop and deliver technical strategies, objectives, KPIs and improvement programmes.
• Own and maintain the Quality Management System and ensure compliance with standards.
• Lead audits and timely closure of corrective actions.
• Drive investigations into complaints and incidents with robust root cause actions.
• Monitor KPI performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers and regulators.
• Lead, coach and develop the Technical team.
