Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe seeks a Quality Lead to head the site Quality team and ensure compliance with internal and external standards. You will drive the Technical Excellence agenda, lead customer and standard audits, and support operations in issue resolution.

Key responsibilities include building a culture of food safety, reducing hazards, and delivering monthly KPI reporting on quality performance. The role demands strong leadership and excellent communication skills at a site level.

Qualifications

• Experience leading audits and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
• Working knowledge of BRC and industry regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Results‑oriented with the ability to influence others.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Build a culture of food safety and quality across the site.
• Reduce hazards, risks, and incidents by driving the Technical Excellence agenda.
• Promote Go for Zero by coaching team in safe behaviours and root causing near misses.
• Ensure training and resources are available for safe task execution.
• Track, report and improve quality and food safety performance metrics.
• Lead and develop a high performing Quality team.
• Develop a structured plan for team development and succession.
• Communicate goals and targets through MySucess and team forums.
• Drive audit performance and improve standards.
• Support site projects aligning with technical objectives.
