Job summary

Samworth Brothers is seeking a Technical Analyst to maintain systems, data and processes across QA, compliance and product integrity. You will work with QA, Raw Materials, Specifications, Production and Process teams to ensure safe, legal and high‑quality products.

The role involves updating systems, logging and investigating customer complaints, supporting internal audits, and generating KPI reports. A proactive, organised candidate with strong cross‑functional collaboration will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Experience in Technical, QA or compliance roles within food manufacturing.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and audit requirements.
• Accurate, organised and able to manage several tasks and prioritise daily workloads.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with cross‑functional teams.
• Interest in building a career within Technical Compliance or Raw Materials.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain Technical systems to ensure products remain safe, legal and high quality.
• Handle customer complaints: log, investigate and support timely responses.
• Maintain internal audits, traceability test plans and log non-conformances.
• Complete internal audits on time and support follow‑up actions.
• Monitor customer retail systems and share issues with the right teams.
• Collate KPI data and produce trend reports and summaries.
• Produce presentation packs, graphs and summaries when needed.
• Keep documents, trackers and records accurate across Technical functions.
• Collaborate with Process, QA, Hygiene, NPD, Commercial and Engineering teams.
