Interaction Recruitment Group is seeking a Production Operative to join the taste lab team, supporting testing and quality checks on food products. You will be accurate, dependable, physically fit and ready to learn with full training provided.

The role requires handling food samples and basic tools, with a Tuesday to Sunday schedule and shifts starting from 07:00, plus extended hours during leave periods. Transport is essential due to location.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable handling food products and following procedures.
• Physically fit to handle products up to 12kg repeatedly.
• Able to read and write English.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Receive and accurately weigh food samples.
• Conduct quality inspections for appearance and taste.
• Verify product batch codes and information.
• Manually handle and move food boxes up to 12kg.
• Load products into incubators as required.
• Safely use basic tools during testing.
• Maintain precise records and testing procedures.
• Identify and report quality concerns promptly.
• Keep the work area clean and compliant with food safety standards.
