Job summary

JobsTrackR is seeking a Quality Inspector for a permanent role in Telford. The position involves daily QA checks, record-keeping, and ensuring packaging and labeling compliance across production and warehouse sites.

The ideal candidate will have experience in quality assurance or food safety, with an understanding of basic food safety principles and an interest in frozen or chilled storage. Strong attention to detail and organisation are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical quality assurance or food operations is preferred.
• Understanding of basic food safety principles.
• Interest in frozen or chilled food storage.
• Able to check records, labels, specifications and traceability accurately.
• Highly organised with document control and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily QA checks including temperature, scale and probe verification.
• Collect and file production and QA records.
• Perform goods-in and product checks on packaging, date codes and batch details.
• Perform label checks for legislation compliance.
• Assist with hygiene, GMP and Glass & Plastic audits.
• Maintain product technical information and supplier documents.
• Manage controlled document system and ensure policies are current.
