Job summary

Staffpower Group is seeking a meticulous Quality Inspector to join our client’s manufacturing team. You will oversee QA processes, perform detailed inspections, and ensure products meet stringent standards before reaching customers.

Your strong analytical skills and knowledge of food safety protocols will support continuous improvement and uphold our safety-conscious environment. The role involves early or late shifts and collaboration with colleagues to resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quality assurance or inspection roles within manufacturing production environments.
• Strong analysis skills to identify deviations from quality standards quickly.
• Excellent attention to detail and clear reporting of findings.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with product safety and quality regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed visual inspections and checks per documented procedures.
• Examine completed and in-process work to identify defects or discrepancies.
• Use inspection and measurement equipment accurately and safely.
• Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation.
• Identify and report non-conformances promptly.
• Collaborate with colleagues to resolve quality issues and prevent repeats.
• Ensure inspections meet required timescales.
• Maintain a clean, organized, professional workspace.
• Follow all procedures on quality, health and safety, and standards.
• Support continuous improvement and suggest quality and efficiency ideas.
