Job summary

Barker Ross Group is hiring Food Production Operatives in Milton Keynes for an ongoing role on day or afternoon shifts. Immediate starts available as part of a busy production team. You will work in a chilled environment, handle dough trays, monitor GMP standards and help maintain food safety and hygiene.

Full training is provided to ensure you meet production targets and quality standards. Ideal candidates are reliable, able to follow procedures, and work well in a team, with good attendance

Qualifications

• Comfortable working in a physically demanding production environment.
• Able to carry out regular manual handling.
• Comfortable working in a chilled environment.
• Good attention to detail.
• Able to follow procedures and instructions.
• Reliable with good attendance.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• No jewellery or makeup permitted in production areas.
• Willing to undergo occasional drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Place dough balls into clean trays according to PJ Food Service standards.
• Monitor productivity standards by analyzing metrics surrounding key performance indicators.
• Insure all dough trays are properly dated, stack and down-stack proper number of trays and maintain rotation practices at proper cooling temperature(s).
• Maintain and document Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards on cleanliness and sanitation to insure product is free of contamination or foreign material.
• Presoak dough trays and process through tray washer.
• Full training provided.

Pay: £13.01 - 14.14 per hour

Shifts

• Day shift: 06:30-15:00
• Afternoon shift: 14:30-23:00

We are currently recruiting Food Production Operatives to join a fast-growing food manufacturing company based in Milton Keynes.

You'll be working as part of a busy production team, helping to manufacture and prepare high-quality food products while maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards.

The Role

• Place dough balls into clean trays according to PJ Food Service standards.
• Monitor productivity standards by analyzing metrics surrounding key performance indicators. Recommend/implement ways to improve performance.
• Insure all dough trays are properly dated, stack and down-stack proper number of trays and maintain rotation practices at proper cooling temperature(s).
