South West Recruitment Ltd is assisting with a Food Production Operative role in Ringwood, Hampshire. The job involves producing and packaging liquid food products, with a 45-hour week and a Monday–Friday pattern from 7:00 to 16:30. The position starts as temporary with the potential to go permanent after several months.

You will join a busy production team, handling blending, processing, cleaning and quality procedures to meet high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food manufacturing or production environment.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Ability to read and follow production schedules and recipes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Own transport due to the location.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, blend and process liquid food products in accordance with production schedules and recipes.
• Operate production machinery and carry out basic fault finding where required.
• Carry out Clean-in-Place (CIP) procedures on production lines and process tanks.
• Package and prepare finished products ready for the warehouse.
• Clean machinery and production areas to food manufacturing standards.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and ensuring the department remains audit-ready.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and quality procedures at all times.
• Work to production targets and departmental KPIs.
• Support other production activities as required.

Job Type: Permanent after 12 weeks depending on performance and reliability
Salary: £13.95 per hour
Hours: 45 hours per week
Monday to Friday: 7am - 4.30pm
Breaks: Two unpaid 30-minute breaks per day

We are recruiting for a Production Operative to join a growing food manufacturing company producing high-quality liquid food products for the catering and foodservice industry.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a busy production team where you'll be involved in the manufacture, blending and packaging of food products. The role is offered on an ongoing temporary basis, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position after 3 months for the right candidate.

The Role

As a Production Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring products are manufactured safely, accurately and to the highest quality standards.

Your duties will include:

• Preparing, blending and processing liquid food products in accordance with production schedules and recipes.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience within a food manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience within a liquid processing environment would be advantageous.
• A good understanding of food safety and hygiene procedures.
• The ability to read and follow production schedules and recipes.
• Good attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills.
• A proactive approach with good problem-solving ability.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• The ability to lift up to 25kg on a repetitive basis when required.
• Own transport, due to the location.
