Job summary

ZEST (UK) LTD in Yeovil is seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced food manufacturing operation. You will help minimise downtime, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and drive improvements in safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include breakdown support, PM routines, cross-functional collaboration, CMMS data entry, and working with the team to meet production goals while upholding food safety standards.

Qualifications

Must hold Level 3 Engineering qualification or equivalent apprenticeship.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) – preferred.
Strong electrical and mechanical hands-on skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience in food manufacturing is desirable.

Responsibilities

Assist in covering breakdowns and process changeovers.
Complete PM routines to keep plant running smoothly.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges.
Complete digital confirmation of work (CMMS).
Manage time to balance multiple tasks and priorities.
Work autonomously to improve the workplace.
Ensure all work complies with food safety standards.
