Job summary

Zest in North Somerset is looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support a rapidly expanding FMCG site. You will perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery across 4O4O shifts (06:00-18:00 / 18:00-06:00) with a salary of £51,000-£53,000 plus enhanced overtime and a bonus.

You will diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, drive uptime improvements, and work with the production team to optimise equipment while following health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering.
• Experience in an FMCG environment preferred.
• Qualifications NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery.
• Ensure the smooth operation of the production facilities.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults.
• Minimise downtime by efficiently managing breakdowns as well support.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimise equipment performance.
• Ensure that health and safety procedures are followed.
• Carry out site service maintenance when required.
