Job summary

A secondary school in Warwickshire is seeking a passionate and dedicated Design Technology Teacher specialising in Food & Nutrition to join its department from September 2026 on a full-time, long-term basis.

The successful candidate will teach Food & Nutrition across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and practical lessons that develop students’ knowledge, creativity, technical skills, and understanding of food preparation and nutrition.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS or be an ECT.
• Have experience teaching Design Technology with a specialism in Food & Nutrition.
• Have experience teaching across KS3 and KS4.
• Be confident delivering practical and theory-based lessons.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Be committed to supporting student progress and raising attainment.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have a genuine passion for Food & Nutrition and inspiring young people.

Responsibilities
