Teaching Personnel in Blackburn is seeking a committed Teacher of Food Technology to join our Design & Technology team from November 2026 to July 2027. The role is full-time and open to experienced teachers and ECTs, focusing on delivering engaging practical lessons and building essential cooking and nutrition skills.

The ideal candidate holds QTS or equivalent and has experience teaching Food Technology in a secondary setting.

Qualifications

• Plan and deliver Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation.
• Deliver both practical and theory elements including nutrition and food science.
• Assess student progress and support attainment.
• Contribute to the wider life of the department and school.
