Job summary

Sainsbury’s Group in Haywards Heath is seeking a Store Manager for our food hall. You will model high standards, coach a team, manage compliance, and ensure customers get the products they want. You will lead day-to-day operations, schedule staff, and deliver exceptional customer service.

The role demands strong line management experience in a fast-paced environment, a track record of KPI delivery, and the ability to drive performance and engagement while delivering for customers.

Qualifications

• Previous line management responsibilities in a fast-paced, operational environment.
• Brilliant customer service and coaching a team to do the same.
• Delivers KPIs and performance indicators.
• Leads operations and can work independently in absence of senior management.
• Experience managing complex people matters with fairness.

Responsibilities

• Role modelling and coaching for high standards and efficiency across the whole food hall.
• Managing compliance to processes while delivering passion for great shop keeping and customer service.
• Ensure every customer gets the food they want when they shop with us.
• People management including performance, capability, disciplinaries and scheduling/pay accuracy.
• Occasionally taking responsibility for running the store and directing colleagues to deliver for the customer.
