Cranswick Country Foods in Thetford is expanding its on-site food production team. We are hiring a Food Production Operative to pack our pork products in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to progress within the company.

You should be self-motivated, a team player, and able to work to targets. Basic English and experience in food production are desirable. Shifts are 4 days on, 4 days off, with day or night options.

Job requirements of Food Production Operative:

As a General Operative in our Retail department, you’ll be packing some of the country’s best-selling pork products including our tasty loin steaks, chops and sausages.

Shift pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off. Hours 6.00am – 17.00pm

Or

Shift pattern: 4 Nights on, 4 Nights off. Hours 17.00pm -3:10am

What you will need:

• Be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative

• Enjoy working as part of a team
• Ideally have experience of working within the food production industry

Pay and benefits:

• Salary – £13.96 per hour
• Rate inclusive of £1 per hour weekly attendance bonus
• Overtime – time and a third after basic hours
• Pension – 3% employer contributions/5% employee contributions
