Cranswick Country Foods in Thetford is seeking a Factory Trainer (Temp) to deliver high-quality training to colleagues in the factory, keeping health & safety, compliance and food safety top priorities. You will work with the HR team and production to identify and manage training needs.

Key duties include planning H&S, Technical and environmental training, inductions for new staff, onboarding, and maintaining accurate records. Shift is Mon-Fri 07:00–15:30; on-site with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a factory environment, ideally FMCG.
• Experience training staff is beneficial.
• Confident communicator, patient and engaging.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Good IT skills with Excel and Outlook.
• Flexible and a team player.

Aufgaben

• Organise and plan H&S, Technical, Environmental and procedural training within the factory.
• Deliver inductions to new employees.
• Ensure refresher and updated training within required timeframes.
• Plan and deliver onboarding training within timeframes.
• Ensure quality training is delivered and understood.
• Assess competency and follow up with individuals.
• Collaborate with H&S, Technical and production teams to improve procedures.
• Complete training administration tasks and maintain records.
• Conduct regular observations to ensure task and procedure compliance.

Job requirements of a Factory Trainer:

As a Factory Trainer, you will be responsible for facilitating high-quality training to colleagues in the factory, keeping health and safety, compliance and food safety top priorities.

You will work within the HR team and alongside production within the factory to identify, monitor and maintain training requirements within the business.

What you will do:

· Organise and plan H&S, Technical, Environmental and procedural training within the factory

· Be responsible for the delivery of inductions to new employees

· Ensure all refresher and updated training is conducted within the required timeframes

· Plan and deliver all onboarding training requirements within the required timeframes

· Ensure quality training is delivered and clearly understood

· Asses the competency but completing follow ups with individuals

· Collaborate with the H&S, Technical and production teams to improve standards of current procedures

· Complete training administration tasks to ensure all records are accurate

· Complete regular observations to ensure individuals are carrying out tasks and procedures as expected

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 15:30

What you will need:

· You will be a confident communicator, patient and engaging.

· Have an excellent standard of spoken and written English.

· Have excellent IT skills and be confident using programs such as Excel and Outlook.

· You will be a flexible, and a team player.

Pay and benefits:

· Rate of Pay - £14.37 per hour

· Rate inclusive of £1 per hour weekly attendance bonus

· Overtime – time and a third after completed normal weekly hours

· Pension – 3% employer contributions/5% employee contributions
