Job summary

PROMAN is recruiting for Food Production Operatives to join Cranswick Gourmet Sausage in Hull, working in the production area assembling pigs in blankets. Transport to and from work will be provided.

Shift is Monday to Friday, 7.30am-3.30pm or 6am-2pm, on a Christmas project with an immediate start and finish 23 December. Pay £12.86 per hour, with on-site parking and canteen facilities.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to work.
• Comfortable handling raw pork and meat products.
• Able to stand for extended periods and work at pace.
• Reliable and committed for the Christmas project.

Responsibilities

• Roll bacon by hand onto sausages to a consistent standard.

New Shift - Monday to Friday - 7.30am-3.30pm or 6am-2pm

Pay: £12.86 per hour

The role at Cranswick Gourmet Sausage:

You'll be hand-rolling bacon onto sausages to make pigs in blankets, working at pace as part of a busy production team. Day to day you'll:

• Roll bacon by hand onto sausages to a consistent standard
• Handle raw pork products throughout your shift
• Quality check to make sure every product meets the required standard
• Work efficiently to hit production targets
• Follow excellent food hygiene and health & safety practices

What we're looking for:

A positive attitude towards your work — we require people who are wanting to work, are hardworking, reliable and ready to join a team that gets the job done. The ideal candidate will:

• Be comfortable handling raw pork and meat products
• Be happy working in a chilled food production environment
• Be comfortable standing for extended periods and working at a fast pace
• Have a good eye for detail and quality
• Ideally have some food production or manufacturing experience (not essential)
• Be reliable and committed to completing the full Christmas project
