Job summary

GCB Cocoa UK Limited is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a 2-shift pattern (06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00, rotating weekly) at a Suffolk site. You will join an expanding plant engineering team, assisting with the build stage, equipment installation, and production flow, while fault-finding and implementing TPM/PPM schedules.

The role offers a salary of £38,000–£45,000 with a 5% pension match, 23 days leave rising to 25, on-site parking and drinks on site.

Qualifications

• Experience with plant/equipment maintenance in a Manufacturing environment.
• Minimum HNC Engineering Qualification.
• Experience in PPM and TPM.
• Experienced in Both mechanical and electrical fault finding.
• Experience in a fast-paced Maintenance Department.
• Experience with plant/equipment maintenance in Food Manufacturing.
• Experience with site services such as Boilers, Chillers, Compressors, Air Handling Units, Wastewater Treatment.
• The ideal candidate will be a team player as well as self-motivated.
• Able to work alone and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with layout of the site during build stages of phase 2
• Assist with layout of equipment and production flow
• Fault finding & problem solving on production and site equipment
• Create and carry out planned maintenance schedules
• Liaise with suppliers & service companies for problem solving
• Identify spare parts for all equipment per business strategies
• Liaise with Production teams to identify and implement improvements
• Identify and carry out Engineering improvement projects
• Train down skills through TPM and other shift engineers
