Job summary

Framptons LIMITED is seeking a proactive Food and Drink Maintenance Apprentice to join our engineering team in a busy manufacturing setting in Somerset. You will learn to maintain plant machinery and site services safely and efficiently, working alongside experienced engineers.

You will gain hands-on experience in preventative maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement, with training across equipment, processes, and engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Essential - GCSE English at 4/C or above or equivalent.
• Essential - GCSE Maths at 4/C or above or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with planned preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Supporting engineers with reactive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Learning fault-finding techniques to diagnose equipment issues.
• Helping to minimise downtime and improve production performance.
• Ensuring maintenance activities are accurately recorded and documented.
