Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a dynamic F&B Retail Supervisor for AO Arena in Manchester to oversee daily food and beverage service areas for general admission guests, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality guest experiences. You’ll manage staff, uphold service standards, coordinate with kitchen and front‑of‑house teams, and guarantee safety and hygiene compliance.

The Role

The F&B Retail Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the food and beverage service areas to our general admission customers, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality guest experiences. This includes managing staff, maintaining service standards, coordinating with kitchen and front-of-house teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.

We are looking for candidates with pace, passion and personality! Our Casual Supervisors oversee the bars on our concourse that welcomes up to 22,000 people every show night, so having the right energy and attitude is so important.

The Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of servers, bartenders, and F&B staff, providing training, support, and performance feedback to maintain exceptional service standards.

• Coordinate day-to-day operations, allocating tasks and managing service flow to ensure efficient, seamless delivery.

• Deliver outstanding guest experiences, handling enquiries, recommendations, feedback, and complaints professionally and proactively.

• Support operational excellence, working closely with kitchen teams, overseeing special events and functions, and ensuring food and beverage service runs smoothly.

• Maintain compliance and commercial performance, managing stock levels, controlling costs and wastage, and ensuring adherence to all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.

• Proven experience in food and beverage operations, ideally in a supervisory or team leadership role.

• Strong leadership and people skills, with the ability to motivate, develop, and guide high-performing teams.

• Customer-focused mindset, with experience resolving issues and creating memorable guest experiences.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Solid knowledge of F&B operations, including service standards, inventory management, health & safety requirements, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required.
