Job description

We are looking for an experienced, motivated and hands‑on Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a confident leader with a passion for hospitality, excellent organisational skills and the ability to take initiative.

Working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, you will play a key role in leading the team, overseeing daily operations and delivering exceptional service to our hotel guests, golf members and visitors.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar supervisory role, ideally within a hotel, restaurant or events environment.
  • Confident leading shifts independently, managing busy services and making decisions.
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to deputise for the Food & Beverage Manager in their absence.
  • A proactive, hands‑on approach with a passion for delivering excellent hospitality.

Full training on hotel procedures will be provided; however, previous supervisory experience is essential.

Duties Will Include
  • Leading and motivating the team to maintain excellent service standards.
  • Overseeing daily restaurant, bar, golf clubhouse and function operations.
  • Managing the setup and smooth running of weddings, wakes, private parties, corporate meetings, golf days and seasonal events.
  • Building positive relationships with hotel guests, golf members and visitors.
  • Handling guest feedback and resolving complaints professionally.
  • Supporting stock control, deliveries, cash handling and daily procedures.
  • Ensuring all areas meet cleanliness, health & safety and company standards.
  • Working closely with other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Set within a hotel and golf club, this is an exciting and varied position offering much more than traditional restaurant and bar service.

From busy breakfast services and golf society days to weddings, charity balls, Christmas parties and large-scale celebrations, no two days are the same.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, takes pride in delivering exceptional hospitality and can confidently lead a team across a wide range of services and events.

This role is ideal for an experienced supervisor looking to take the next step in their hospitality career, with opportunities to develop their skills, take on greater responsibility and grow within the business.
