Job summary

IKEA Birmingham is hiring Food and Beverage Assistants to join our welcoming team. You will serve meals, take payments, keep the restaurant clean, and help prepare food while ensuring a great customer experience.

Full-time and part-time shifts are available with a competitive hourly rate. Flexibility for daytimes and occasional evenings/weekends is required, with regular weekend off every fourth. Benefits include staff discounts, life assurance, and subsidised canteen access.

Qualifications

• Prior food and customer service experience is a plus, but not required if you are hands-on and willing to roll up your sleeves.
• Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
• Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
• Ability to remain organized and detail-oriented, even when things get busy.
• Must be over 18 years old due to health and safety regulations.
