Job summary

Hillier Garden Centre at Three Legged Cross is seeking a friendly Garden Centre Assistant (Food & Beverage) to join our team in Wimborne, Dorset. You will serve food and drinks, prepare hot beverages, and ensure high customer service standards in a permanent role with a rota that includes weekends.

The hourly rate is up to £12.71, with pay aligned to National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality, catering, retail or customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
• Full training will be provided.
• Flexible and willing to support different areas of the business.

Responsibilities

Hillier Garden Centre atThree Legged Crossis looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Garden Centre Assistant (Food & Beverage) to join our team.

Working within ourRestaurant, you'll help create a welcoming experience for customers by serving food and drinks, preparing hot beverages and maintaining high standards of customer service.

This is a permanent role with guaranteed 20hours per week, worked on a rota basis, including some weekend working. Additional hours are regularly available during peak trading periods, so we are looking for candidates who can offer flexibility to increase their working hours when required.

Hourly rate of pay up to £12.71 per hour. Actual pay will be determined in line with National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage requirements.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and serving food and drinks.
• Making hot beverages, including coffee.
• Handling customer queries and payments.

• Clearing and cleaning customer areas.
