About the Role

We are seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant at Ettington Park Hotel, part of Hand Picked Hotels. This is a temporary position until the end of December 2025, working 32 hours per week. Staff live-in accommodation is available.

About Ettington Park Hotel

The only AA 4 Red Star hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon, renowned for its characterful bedrooms, seasonal cuisine, and beautiful grounds, perfect for weddings and afternoon teas.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare food and beverage service areas to hotel standards, ensuring high presentation standards.
2. Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergens, and preparation styles.
3. Offer accurate product descriptions and recommendations based on guest preferences.
4. Work enthusiastically with team members to achieve departmental goals.
5. Maintain basic knowledge of the wine list and stock availability.
6. Understand principles of food and wine matching and flavor profiles.
7. Deliver inspired, fun, and memorable guest experiences.

Candidate Requirements

1. Experience in food and beverage within a quality-driven hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
2. Enthusiasm and willingness to take on new responsibilities.
3. Flexibility to assist in different hotel areas as needed.
4. High emotional intelligence to anticipate and meet guest needs.
