A day in the life of…

As Food & Beverage Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for most guests. Your role involves welcoming guests from around the world with a friendly smile and providing exceptional service. You will work closely with your team to ensure each shift runs smoothly and efficiently, delivering the best possible guest experience every time.

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet guests and take their orders in a friendly and professional manner
• Ensure food and beverage orders are prepared and served promptly
• Upsell food and beverage items to guests as appropriate
• Handle cash, card, and other payment methods accurately
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors
• Set up and clear tables for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• Serve guests in conference and events spaces
• Assist with room service orders as needed
• Provide excellent customer service at all times
• Follow health and safety regulations diligently
• Attend training sessions and team meetings as required
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Food and Beverage Manager

This role is based at Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel, where you'll be part of a passionate team that values quality over clock-watching.
