Job summary

Leisure Focus seeks a Food & Beverage Assistant to manage daily café operations and ensure exceptional customer service in a community-focused leisure center. The ideal candidate will possess a catering qualification and a passion for providing high-quality food and beverage experiences within a diverse and inclusive environment.

Qualifications

  • Preferably holds a qualification in Catering or related subject.
  • Strong knowledge of the Leisure industry.
  • First Aid and Food Hygiene Certificates are desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Café.
  • Ensure high standards of Customer Care and food hygiene.
  • Maintain excellent presentation of food and beverages.

Job description

Food & Beverage assistant you will be guided by the values to lead by example and inspire your team every shift to ensure the highest standards of delivery at all times.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary objectives for the Food and Beverage Assistant will be:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Café in order to maximise business opportunities in line with the company business plan.
  • To be part of the Food and Beverage team that provides an exciting, healthy, innovative, quality food and beverage operation in order to create demand which meets customer needs whilst increasing profitability.
  • To provide the highest possible standards of Customer Care within a healthy and safe environment by guiding, caring for and assisting customers in their choice and use of the catering facilities.
  • Ensuring excellent presentation of food and beverages to the customer at all times.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene and cleanliness at all times.
  • Being aware of all Health and Safety issues, constantly implementing and assessing procedures, and drawing attention to any useful practices.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications

Desirable
  • The post holder will preferably hold a recognised qualification in Catering, or related subject, first aid certificate and Food and Hygiene Certificate along with strong knowledge of the Leisure or related industry in a small/medium sized enterprise.
