Job summary

Parkdean Resorts is seeking a confident Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead busy complex operations across our UK parks. You will deliver great guest experiences, support teams, and help run shifts when the Complex Manager is absent.

You’ll supervise a team, manage cash handling, and work with kitchen teams to meet spec and portion controls. Training and development opportunities are available alongside a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a team in food & beverage.
• Guest-focused mindset with a passion for service.
• Experience handling cash and financial controls.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 is preferred or training provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the complex is presented to high standards and compliant with food safety policies.
• Welcome guests warmly and meet their needs throughout their visit.
• Assist the Complex Manager with labour planning and wage cost control.
• Accurately place and manage food and beverage orders using systems.
• Manage till operations and cash handling procedures.
• Monitor stock levels to minimise waste and hit gross profit targets.
• Support recruitment, induction, and training of team members.
• Work closely with kitchen teams to ensure portion control and spec conformance.
• Handle customer complaints professionally to secure positive outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and financial controls.
• Run shifts during the Complex Manager’s absence to maintain operations.
• Deliver any additional tasks requested by the General/Complex Manager.

What you will be doing...

• Ensuring the complex is presented to the highest standards, both visually and in line with food safety and hygiene policies.
• Delivering a warm welcome to guests and ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit.
• Supporting the Complex Manager with labour planning and wage cost control.
• Using ordering systems accurately to place and manage food and beverage orders.
• Managing cash handling procedures, including till use and cashing up.
• Monitoring stock levels to ensure availability, reduce waste, and achieve gross profit targets.
• Supporting recruitment, induction, training, and development of team members.
• Working closely with kitchen teams to ensure food meets specification and portion controls are followed.
• Handling customer complaints professionally and efficiently to secure positive outcomes.
• Ensuring compliance across food safety, health & safety, financial controls, and mandatory training.
• Running shifts during the absence of the Complex Manager to ensure seamless operations.
• Completing any additional tasks required by the General Manager or Complex Manager.

About you...

• Previous experience supervising or leading a team in a food and beverage environment.
• A guest focused, engaging approach with a passion for delivering memorable experiences.
• Experience handling cash and following financial control procedures.
• Confidence working in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 (or equivalent) - training can be provided.
