Food and Beverage Assistants

Manchester City Centre

£11.44 per hour rising to £14.00 per hour.

30-35 hours per week

Our exclusive client is looking for talented Front of House and Back of House team members to join its dynamic business. This popular, funky brand is a fast-paced, casual dining restaurant in Manchester City Centre, specialising in quick service modern Asian dishes.

As a growing, independent business, we're seeking open-minded individuals with a drive to deliver excellence and great personalities who can work well in our diverse team.

The team member duties are divided into two sections - Front of House and Back of House. Both sections are within the kitchen, with different responsibilities. Cross-training is provided for those interested in learning both roles.

Duties:

Front of House

• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests with orders and inquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the dining area and kitchen.
• Uphold food safety standards at all times.
• Pack orders efficiently and with presentation in mind.
• Manage Uber orders following our system.
• Coordinate with BOH team to prepare and pack cooked food promptly.

Back of House

• Prepare and cook dishes to standard and specifications.
• Manage a primary section on the line — Grill, Fryers, Woks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and BOH areas.
• Uphold food safety standards at all times.
• Complete orders efficiently and with quality.
• Coordinate with FOH team to cook orders timely.

Requirements:

• Excellent customer service skills (mainly FOH, but useful for BOH as well).
• Fast learner capable of working quickly in a fast-paced environment handling multiple responsibilities.
• Strong team working skills.
• Previous experience is preferred but not necessary.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene — Level 2 health and safety training provided.
• Drive for excellence and eagerness to learn.
• Interest in food and ability to recognise quality standards after training.
