Overview

Pay - £7.55 - £12.21 per hour.

Our store in Blackburn is looking for a minimum of 16 hours per week as a Barista/Coffee Shop Assistant. The hours will be spread across the week and will include at least one Saturday or Sunday shift.

Dunelm’s coffee shops, known as Pausa, are thriving, and our Coffee Shop Assistants are central to this success. They are responsible for preparing food and beverages, providing excellent customer service, and building customer relationships.

Pay rates:

• 16-17 years: £7.55
• 18+ years: £12.21

What you'll be doing

As a Coffee Shop Assistant, you'll work as part of a team, maintaining high standards for health, safety, and food hygiene. Your responsibilities include:

• Working with various ingredients, including dairy, nuts, and meat products.
• Serving hot and cold beverages.
• Dishing up food items.
• Ensuring cooked food is served hot.
• Keeping tables clear and sanitized.
• Loading and unloading dishwashers.
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining areas.
