Overview

Pay - £7.55 - £12.21 per hour.

Our store in Barnsley is looking for a minimum of 16 hours per week as a Barista/Coffee Shop Assistant. The hours will be spread across the week and will include at least one Saturday or Sunday shift.

Dunelm’s coffee shops, called Pausa, are thriving, and it is our Coffee Shop Assistants who are central to their success. They are responsible for preparing a range of food and beverages, providing excellent customer service, and building customer relationships.

Pay rates:

• 16-17 years: £7.55
• 18+ years: £12.21

What you'll be doing

As a Coffee Shop Assistant, you will:

• Work in a team, maintaining high standards for Health and Safety and Food Hygiene.
• Handle ingredients including dairy, nuts, and meat products.
• Serve hot and cold beverages.
• Distribute savoury and sweet food items.
• Ensure cooked food is served hot.
• Keep tables clear and sanitized promptly.
• Load and unload dishwashers.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen, service area, and restaurant.
